The day science met PRISM™: what happened when we put energy work in a laboratory
I want to tell you a story that starts with chaos and ends with something I am still processing.
On 9 June I walked into a laboratory at Centrum Medyczne Magwise in Warsaw, Poland.
Not a retreat space. Not a studio. A medical laboratory. With electrodes placed on head of a girl, EEG equipment measuring her brain activity across 19 channels, and scientists ready to observe what happens to the brain during a PRISM™ session.
Nothing went smoothly.
The equipment kept failing. We had to restart five times. The scientists told me this had never happened before in that setting. And I sat there in the middle of it all, looking at wires attached to my friend’s head, surrounded by confused scientists and failing machines, thinking: of course. Of course this is how it goes. Because nothing about this work has ever followed the expected path.
We got through it eventually. We always do.
The journey home was its own story. I almost missed my flight. The airport was shut due to a dangerous object on site. And then somehow, with 25 minutes until departure, I was the first person through the entrance via the cabin crew door, the first through security, and I made it onto the plane with minutes to spare. I sat down quietly while everyone else was still boarding.
I remember thinking that was the end of the surreal part.
It was not. It was the beginning.
What we were testing
The question we brought into the laboratory was simple but significant.
What actually happens to the brain during a PRISM™ Kundalini/Life-force Activation session?
For years I have known what happens in the body. I have felt it, held it, watched it happen in hundreds of people in dozen of countries. The energy moves. The nervous system shifts. Something that was stuck becomes unstuck. People walk out different. If you want to know what actually happens during a session before we get into the science, start here: What happens in a Kundalini Activation session?
But knowing something in your body and being able to show it to the world with data are two different things.
So we used EEG, electroencephalography, to measure brain wave activity during a session. We looked at six frequency bands: delta, theta, alpha, SMR, beta1 and beta2, as well as Gamma. Each of these tells us something different about the state the brain is in and what it is doing.
Delta waves are associated with deep sleep and healing. Theta with deep meditation, creativity and the subconscious. Alpha with relaxed awareness. SMR with calm focused attention. Beta with active thinking and processing. Each frequency band tells its own story about what the brain is doing and what state of consciousness a person is in.
We were measuring all of them simultaneously during a live PRISM™ session.
What the results showed
The results came back on the summer solstice. Which felt appropriate.
I had predicted certain outcomes based on what I know about this work and what I know about nervous system and brain states. The results went further than I predicted. Significantly further.
I am not going to share everything here because this work is still in progress and I want to present it properly and accurately at the right time and in the right place. What I can tell you is this.
The brain wave patterns recorded during the PRISM™ session showed states that are typically associated with deep meditation, neuroplasticity and what scientists describe as a psychedelic-like effect, without any psychedelic substances being involved. Even more session was done in quite uncomfortable settings with many obstacles and despite all of that results are beyond expected.
Let me say that again clearly.
The brain, under the influence of nothing except the PRISM™ method, produced states that science associates with the most profound shifts in human consciousness and healing.
I had predicted one thing and got so much more. And I sat with those results on the summer solstice feeling something I want to try to describe.
Not triumph. Not I told you so. Something quieter than that. Something closer to the feeling of watching two worlds that you always knew belonged together finally touch.
The ancient and the modern. The felt and the measured. The energy and the science.
This is not woo woo. This never was. And now there is data to show it.
What happened next
Within days of receiving the results I was accepted onto the Washington conference for psychology and science to present this work.
And then London.
I am now preparing a proper scientific presentation of the PRISM™ Method to share with the academic and professional world. This is not something I ever planned. But here we are, and I am not going to pretend I am not moved by it.
This also means the July facilitator training moves to October. Not because anything is wrong. Because what is coming deserves to be held properly. The next people who train in PRISM™ will do so in a method that has been not only internationally accredited by IPHM but scientifically validated in a medical laboratory.
That changes what it means to carry this work.
Why this matters beyond me
I want to be clear about something.
This is not about me being right. It is not about proving a point or winning an argument with the people who have always looked at energy work with scepticism.
It is about access.
There are millions of people who would benefit from this work but who cannot get past the question of whether it is real. Whether it is safe. Whether it is something they can trust. And I understand that completely. Scepticism is healthy. Wanting evidence is intelligent.
Now there is evidence.
Not complete. Not published yet. Not the final word. But real, measurable data from a real medical facility showing that what happens in a PRISM™ session produces documented changes in brain activity that science already knows to be associated with healing, growth and transformation. This sits alongside the IPHM accreditation that recognised PRISM™ as a legitimate professional method earlier this year. Read that story here: PRISM™ is now IPHM accredited: here is what that actually means and why I almost did not apply.
That opens a door for people who would otherwise never walk through it.
And that is everything to me. My work, everything that felt disconnected, all my studies came together. To create a method which combines various tools in order to bring a result. A measurable result.
What comes next
I will keep sharing as this develops. The conference presentations, the full results when they are ready to be shared properly, and what all of this means for how we understand energy work, consciousness and the future of holistic medicine.
For now I want to say this.
If you have been curious about a session, this is the moment. You do not need to understand the neuroscience to feel what it does. But it helps to know that what you feel is real in every sense of the word.
And if you have been feeling called to train as a facilitator, the October PRISM™ training will be the most grounded, most evidenced, most professionally supported training I have ever offered. Reply to this email if you want to know more.
Something significant is happening here.
And it is only just beginning.
