Breathwork is a gentle yet deeply transformative way to move energy through the body.

This practice meets you exactly where you are: physically, emotionally, spiritually. No pushing. No forcing. Just returning to what has always been yours.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is a therapeutic practice that uses conscious breathing, somatic awareness, and nervous-system attunement to create emotional release, mental clarity, and deep inner calm.

It reconnects you to yourself — gently, naturally — when life becomes loud.

In every session, we move through the pillars that shape real transformation.

  • Soma & Movement: softening the body so it feels safe to open.

  • Breathwork and Bodywork: activating your natural energy flow.

  • Subconscious Repatterning: shifting old emotional imprints.

Breathwork events don’t require any prior experience in energy work and are very adaptable to your intetion.

Frequently asked questions

  • Breathwork meets you exactly where you are. Through guided breathing, your body begins to soften, open, and reveal what has been held - stress, emotions, tension, or simply the need to reconnect.

    On the day, I guide you through every step: the breath, the sensations, the release, and the integration.

    A class usually lasts 90–120 minutes, moving from preparation to active breathwork into deep rest, where the nervous system settles, and everything lands gently.

    Every session is tailored to you or your group. Nothing is forced, and I meet you where you are.

  • There is no big preparation needed - just come as you are.

    These simple guidelines will help your body open and receive the experience more fully:

    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing so you can move and breathe without restriction.

    • Remove jewellery, especially around the neck.

    • Bring your water bottle and lip balm.

    • Bring your journal if you like to capture anything afterwards.

    • Avoid coffee or stimulants for about 4 hours before the session.

    • Avoid heavy meals - try not to eat for 90 minutes beforehand.

    • No alcohol for 24 hours before the session.

    A note on sexual activity on the day:

    In spiritual traditions, it’s recommended to avoid sex on the day of the session, simply because it keeps your energy more contained and focused inward.

    If this resonates with your spiritual beliefs, you are welcome to follow it. If not, don’t worry, live as you do. This work meets you exactly where you are.

    After the session, give yourself at least an hour with no plans.

  • You can experience my breathwork sessions in three main ways:

    • In-person in 1:1 or group workshops at the Luv Yourself Space

    • Online in 1:1 or group settings

    • Private group settings in London that you can contact me about individually

  • Breathwork works directly with your nervous system. As your breathing changes, your body shifts between activation and relaxation, which creates space for release and reset.

    Because more oxygen moves through the body than usual, you may feel tingling, warmth, tension releasing, changes in temperature, or emotions rising to the surface. These sensations are normal - this is your system opening and letting go of what it has been holding.

    Memories, insights, or clarity may come. Some people feel lighter, calmer, or more grounded. Others feel emotional release or deep stillness. Every experience is personal.

    A single session can shift a lot, and with regular practice breathwork can support better sleep, less stress, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of connection to yourself.

    During the session, all you need to do is breathe. I guide you through the entire process so your body feels safe, supported, and able to open naturally.

  • Breathwork is powerful, deep work - and for safety reasons, it isn’t suitable for everyone.

    If any of the following apply to you, this practice may not be appropriate at this time:

    Medical Contraindications

    • Epilepsy or history of seizures

    • Detached retina or glaucoma

    • Osteoporosis

    • Recent surgery or injuries (session possible only after full recovery)

    • Cardiovascular disease or history of heart attack or stroke

    • Pregnancy

    • Severe asthma
      (mild/moderate asthma is okay - but please bring your inhaler)

    Psychiatric Contraindications

    • Diagnosed bipolar disorder (Type I), schizophrenia, or other psychotic disorders

    • Current psychotic, manic, or delusional states

    • Any condition, physical or psychological, that may limit your ability to safely experience strong emotional or physical release
