The forgotten origin of kundalini and ways to practice

Demystifying Kundalini Activation

A woman with long brown hair, wearing a beige tank top and earrings, is kneeling over a man lying down. The woman appears to be supporting or comforting the man, who has dark hair and is wearing a light-colored shirt. The setting looks like an indoor room with cushions and a wooden piece of furniture in the background.
Kundalini AKA life-force energy

Is Kundalini a myth?

Kundalini is not something mystical or reserved for a chosen few.

It’s the natural life-force that every human is born with: the current that animates the body, awakens intuition, and connects you to the deeper layers of yourself.

You don’t “earn” Kundalini.

You don’t become “special” when it awakens. You become yourself.

Truth is, if you are alive, it’s already inside you.

Kundalini Activation simply means remembering what has always been yours.

Kundalini AKA life-force energy

Where does this energy come from

Across the world, long before modern wellness existed, humans knew there was a living current inside the body: a force that awakens when we become present and open.

Every culture named it differently: in India it became known as Kundalini, the rising inner power; in China it was Qi; in Japan, Ki; in Polynesia, Mana; in Greece, Pneuma; in Christian mysticism, the Holy Spirit. The term Kundalini and its concept first appeared in ancient Indian texts, such as the Upanishads, around the 9th-7th centuries BCE.

It’s Shiva and Shakti: the stillness of pure awareness meeting the creative, moving power within us. Together, they represent the full spectrum of human potential.

Far from new, Kundalini carries different names and symbols, but a single truth remains: this energy resides in all of us.

Kundalini or life-force energy

So what is Kundalini, really?

It’s your inner electricity.

Your blueprint. Your intuition, clarity, softness, power, and creativity: all coming online in a coherent way.

What we notice when this energy begins to move

  • Your nervous system comes out of survival mode

  • Your emotional layers start to soften

  • Your body opens in places that were closed

  • Your intuition becomes sharper

  • You begin to feel more you, not who you learned to be

Going through life with active life-force energy

What does living with an active energy feel like

An active Kundalini does not turn you into a different person, it removes what is not you.

This energy takes root in every aspect of your life, making you more awake, more aware, and more alive.

People choose Kundalini Activation because they often hear a whisper:

“I know there is more to life and me than the way I am living right now.”

You might come for: emotional release, nervous system regulation, clarity during transitions, reconnection after burnout, spiritual awakening or simply curiosity.

The reason doesn’t matter. Your body knows why it’s here, and will take exactly what it needs from our time together, whether it’s in-person in London, online, or at a retreat.

People who experience Kundalini Activation often describe they have:

  • More clarity and inner calm

  • Connection to one’s spiritual gifts

  • Deeper connection and intuition

  • Emotional resilience and softness at the same time

  • More grounded decisions

  • Increase in creativity and flow

  • Sense of “coming home”

  • More honesty in relationships

  • Shift from reacting to responding

  • Life that feels led from within rather than influenced from the outside
