The science of PRISM®The science behind the PRISM® Method
What EEG brain-mapping revealed about Kundalini Activation and breathwork
I didn't want PRISM® to rest on words alone, so I took it into the lab. Here is what we found, and what it does and doesn't mean, told plainly.
Why I took it into the labPeople have always felt PRISM®. I wanted to see it.
For years, people have come out of a PRISM® session saying the same kinds of things: lighter, calmer, more themselves, as if something had moved. I believe them, because I feel it too. But I wanted to know what was actually happening underneath.
So, with my research team, I took PRISM® into a qEEG brain-mapping study, measuring the brain before, during and after a session. It is early research, and I will say clearly what it can and can't tell us. But what came back was striking, and it is being investigated further.
On the international stageOne of the very few energy methods studied this way
PRISM® is not only practised, it is being investigated. In 2026 the work was presented at the ICPABS conference in Washington, where it received the Best Paper Award, and I was invited to help lead a conference in London.
PRISM® is also a registered trademark and an IPHM-accredited method, so the standard behind the name is protected and independently recognised.

What the brain showedA deep, measurable shift, reached through breath alone
Using qEEG brain-mapping, we looked at what actually happens in the brain and body during a PRISM® session. In plain terms, three things stood out.
From bracing to deep calm
The brain shifted out of its fast, alert, bracing mode into slower, deeper rhythms, the kind of pattern seen in deep meditation, while staying organised and aware. Deep relaxation, without switching off.
The brain settledWhat the brain showed
You can feel a PRISM® session. Now we can see it on a brain scan, too. I didn't want PRISM® to rest on words alone, so I took it into the lab. In an early EEG study, we looked at what actually happens in the brain and body during a PRISM® session.
In plain terms, the brain shifts out of its busy, alert, bracing mode into a slower, deeply relaxed and inward state, the kind of pattern seen in deep meditation. The regions that handle emotion, body awareness and self-regulation begin working together differently, moving from stuck reactivity toward settling and integration. During the breathwork, people drop into a deep, immersive state, the kind usually reached through deep meditation, and here it arrives through breath alone, with no substances involved.
What people described afterwards: feeling lighter, calmer and more rested, with more energy and more interest in life, and less gripped by the worries and old triggers that used to run them. In the study, participants reported feeling calmer and less anxious, and not reacting to things the way they had before.
None of this reduces the experience to brainwaves. The science simply confirms what people feel: something real moves through you. I take the evidence seriously, and I hold the mystery with the same respect.

This is early research that is being investigated further, and PRISM® is not a treatment for any condition, nor a substitute for medical or psychological care.
Working together differently
The regions that handle emotion, body-awareness and memory began coordinating in a new way, a shift away from stuck reactivity and toward processing and integration. Activation moving toward integration.
Emotion, body & memoryA genuinely altered state
During the breathwork, people dropped into a deeply immersive state, the kind usually reached only through deep meditative practice, and here it arrived through breath alone, with no substances involved.

Live transmissions and teaching
Hands-on, real-time facilitation practice
Training manual and materials
Pre- and post-training Zoom calls
Lifetime facilitator support
IPHM-accredited certification on completion
Everything above, plus cacao ceremony, yoga and sound journeys in the room, and lunches on training days.
In person, London · £3,000
Live online, Zoom · £1,900
Everything above, plus lifetime access to the session recordings.
A typical day. Days one to four run roughly 10 AM to 6 PM, day five roughly 10 AM to 3 PM, with a pre-training Zoom beforehand and follow-up calls after. Each day is around half teaching, half practice, and day five includes a supported open class.
Group size. A maximum of 13, sometimes as few as three. Small by design, so you are genuinely seen. Held at Luv Yourself Space, near Canning Town, London. Accommodation is not included.
CERTIFICATIONHow and when you're certified
You can take this training for two reasons, and both are welcome.
Some people train for themselves, to deepen their own practice. You complete the five days and the work is yours to live with, with no obligation to facilitate anyone.
If you want to facilitate others, finishing the training doesn't hold you back, you can begin holding the work. Certification is the next step, and it's your formal association with PRISM® and everything it stands for: the accredited, protected standard, the right to represent your sessions under the method's name, and your place among its recognised facilitators.
It's competency-based, earned through readiness, not attendance. You're assessed during the training, and then, within the four-month integration period, I observe three of your facilitation sessions, in person with me, online where I join your own session, or by recording. Once you've completed the training and those sessions and shown you can hold the work safely, your certificate is issued, you can use the PRISM® name professionally, and you're listed as a qualified facilitator. This usually happens within four months, sooner if you're ready sooner.

the founderNatalia Bareikis, founder of the PRISM® Method
PRISM® is the result of 17+ years of lived practice across somatics, psychology and energy work, including yoga, breathwork, sound healing, Reiki, and the Kundalini Activation Process (KAP) and Innerdance lineages. It grew from bringing psyche, body and energy together, and it is an evolution of my earlier Kundalini Activation IDA training, refined through thousands of hours of facilitation.
I have learned from many teachers, but PRISM® doesn't belong to one guru lineage, and this training isn't about copying me. It's designed to help you find your own way, trust your transmission, and bring your gifts into the world.

Answers to your FAQsFrequently asked questions
-
No. No prior certification or formal energy training is required. PRISM® is taught from the ground up, with a strong focus on embodied understanding, safety and integration. What matters most is your openness, self-awareness and felt sense of the work.
If you’re not familiar with Kundalini, explore our introductory page and reach out if you have any questions. -
PRISM® is not built around choreography or performance. It centres on presence, nervous-system awareness and embodied transmission. It is also a protected, IPHM-accredited method that has been studied under EEG, and it supports you in finding your own way of holding space rather than replicating a lineage.
-
Yes. PRISM® is accredited by IPHM, and Natalia is accredited both as a Practitioner and as a Training Provider. You can apply for IPHM practitioner membership and, separately, practitioner insurance.
-
It is one live training. You attend either in person in London or live online, in real time with the same group. Once accredited, you can facilitate 1:1, in groups and online.

-
Yes. This is energy, life-force, Kundalini, soul. Whether you call it God, Source, Spirit or simply energy, you'll be met here in your own language. But PRISM® isn't about leaving your life to chase the light or float above it all. It's about bringing that energy home, into your body, your relationships, your ordinary days, so your spiritual life and your everyday 3D life stop being two separate things. This isn't escape. It's a way to harmonise your whole life and come back to yourself, more awake and more here. Activation opens the door. Integration is where it becomes a life you actually live.
-
No. PRISM® is not a religion and asks you to adopt nothing. Whether you arrive with a deep faith, a felt sense of energy, or simple curiosity, you're welcome. The work is about your own direct experience and your own inner authority, not a doctrine to believe. Be yourself.
-
No. You can train purely for yourself, with no obligation to facilitate anyone. If you do want to facilitate others under the PRISM® name, you complete three observed facilitation sessions during the integration period, and then you're accredited.
-
You're assessed during the training, then I observe three of your facilitation sessions (in person, online, or recorded) within the four-month integration period. Once those are complete and you've shown you can hold the work safely, your certificate is issued, usually within four months, sooner if you're ready sooner.
