What is Kundalini Activation IDA and how can it help me?

IDA is an Inner Dance Awakening of your Kundalini energy. The name came from both practices KAP and Innerdance, Natalia has been a part of.

It is a organic state of expanded non-dual consciousness. An entryway into wholeness and unity and profound understanding of who and what you truly are. IDA is the activation of your Kundalini energy in the body to ultimately create shifts in consciousness. This can manifest in a multitude of ways:

IDA Kundalini Activation  FAQs

  • YES! Experienced or not, the best way to show up for a Kundalini Activation class is with a beginner’s mind. If you are sensitive to this energy it has nothing to do with experience, IDA is about feeling, not knowing… All you have to do is to relax and have an open mind.

  • In a session, you lie down on a yoga mat. Some music is played. The facilitator touches or presses some of the chakra or meridian points on your body. Spontaneous movements, sounds and emotional releases frequently occur. Some consider these responses to be deeply cathartic, others experience deep insights or realizations. Some people experience nothing on the surface, but don’t worry, the IDA has still worked its magic. Because it’s not what does or doesn’t happen in a session that’s important. What truly matters is the great shifts you experience in your consciousness, and ultimately your life, in the days, weeks and months that follow.

  • There is a whole range of things that may happen after a IDA class, including the early to later signs of kundalini awakening. IDA is an energy lineage that holds a wide range of frequencies beneficial for higher states of consciousness and spiritual growth in addition to the traditional kundalini signs/symptoms. This process removes energetic blocks and connects you to your higher self/source and it will look different for each individual. See the video above for more information.

  • IDA is not a substitute for medical or psychological attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. This process is mainly for spiritual growth and deepening of consciousness. However, many students do report physical healings early on, after only one or a few sessions. But, of course, this is not guaranteed - nor is it the primary purpose of IDA

  • IDA is not recommended for those prone to mania, delusion or psychosis. As this process will expand your capacity to feel, you will have to be able to handle the emotional response in between sessions. If this is too difficult to handle on your own, we recommend you not to continue with the sessions.

  • If you are pregnant and in your third trimester we recommend you wait until after birth to continue with the transmissions. Before the third trimester (7-9 months) it is ok to attend as long as you are feeling well and are still able to participate in physical activities eg gym, yoga etc. Always let your facilitator know that you are pregnant before a IDA session. It is the client’s responsibility to know their individual limitations recommended by their doctor and to be aware of what positions to avoid that can be harmful to mother or baby.

  • Yes. Many students report that IDA helped them with their anxiety/depression. Just be aware that if you’re on antidepressant medication there’s a possibility that you could be less sensitive to the energy.

  • The online classes are not much different to the in-person classes. Some people are more comfortable to relax and receive the energy in a group setting while others are more comfortable in their own homes. This can affect the intensity one feels in a session. Some people find the energy to be slightly milder online while others feel it to be equally powerful. Beginners might need a couple more online classes to activate compared to in person.

  • It is best to arrive light. Drink plenty of water and it is best to fast for about 3 hours prior to the session. If you have to eat, stick to light foods like salads, nuts and fruit. Try avoiding alcohol and drugs for at least 24 hours prior to the session. Caffeine isn’t advisable either so try staying away from coffee or go for decaff 😊 Wear something comfortable and have water with you. There is no special preparation otherwise and all you need is YOU.
